SunShine Doesn't Start Without A SunRise...
In 1993 J & M Kielstra established "Edson Truss", a truss engineering and manufacturing plant located near Edson AB.
Later on Edson Truss expanded outside of floor and roof systems to include a home building supply store, known as "Sunshine Building Products".
The company expanded again by supplying concrete for Edson and the surronding area by opening "SunShine Redi-Mix".
Shortly after, the company expanded again with concrete pump trucks known as "SunShine Concrete Pumping".
In 2020 SunShine Building Products opened another store located in the town of Edson as well as expanded with SunShine Redi-Mix with a portable concrete batch plant.
A few years later the company grew outside of Alberta by setting up a portable concrete batch plant in Kamloops BC, known as "SunRise Redi-Mix".

The first batch plant (SunShine Redi-Mix) was established in Edson AB in 2013. It is still operational to this day.

In 2020 we expanded with the Vince Hagan SHT Portable Batch Plant. After it completed the Cascade Power Plant, it was set up in Kamloops BC (SunRise Redi-Mix) in 2023.

In 2023 we expanded again with the Bohringer B120 Portable Batch Plant. It is currently set up as a back up plant in Kamloops BC.
